Clear Aligners in Korea | Nearly Invisible Orthodontic Treatment

Clear aligners are thin, transparent trays worn like a mouthpiece and replaced in sequence to gradually straighten the teeth. Unlike bracket braces that show between the teeth, they are hard to notice in everyday life.

Final treatment plan, cost and duration are confirmed after in-clinic diagnosis.

Quick Answer

Clear aligner treatment uses a series of custom transparent trays, each moving the teeth slightly, worn in a planned order. It is discreet, removable for eating and brushing, and easier on oral hygiene. Treatment duration is not fixed - it differs case by case - and not everyone is a candidate, so a precise diagnosis comes first.

Process

From photo consultation to in-clinic diagnosis

01

Step 1. Candidacy diagnosis

Clear aligners do not suit every malocclusion. We examine your teeth, bite, and jaw relationship in detail to confirm whether your case can be treated with aligners alone, needs a combined approach, or is better served by another method.

02

Step 2. A planned series of custom aligners

Based on the diagnosis, a sequence of aligners is designed, each shaped slightly differently so the teeth move little by little toward the planned position. You can see the intended movement path before treatment begins.

03

Step 3. Wear and switch on schedule

You wear each aligner for the prescribed period, removing it only for meals and brushing, then move to the next tray. Consistent daily wear time is the single biggest factor you control in keeping treatment on track.

04

Step 4. Check-ups and retention

Periodic visits confirm that the teeth are following the plan, and adjustments are made if movement deviates. After active treatment, retainers keep the result stable - skipping retention is the most common reason teeth relapse.

Care system

How this center cares for patients

Discreet, removable, and hygienic by design

Because nothing is bonded to the teeth, aligners stay discreet during treatment, come out freely for meals, and let you brush and floss normally - a practical advantage for long-term gum health during orthodontics.

Honest answers on duration and candidacy

We do not promise a fixed treatment period. How long aligner treatment takes depends on your malocclusion, the planned movement, and how consistently the trays are worn - and some cases should not be treated with aligners at all. We tell you this clearly at diagnosis, before any commitment.

Visit planning for patients coming from abroad

Compared with fixed braces, aligners can sometimes allow longer intervals between visits, which interests patients living overseas. To be honest, this is case-dependent: in-person visits are still required for diagnosis, progress checks, and refinements, and remote photos cannot fully replace clinical examination. We confirm a realistic visit schedule before treatment starts.

FAQ

Questions Patients Ask

How long does clear aligner treatment take?

It varies by case. Minor front-teeth alignment generally takes less time than complex bite correction, but no responsible estimate can be given without a diagnosis. After your examination, you will receive a projected timeline specific to your treatment plan.

Is everyone a candidate for clear aligners?

No. Aligners work well for many alignment problems, but severe crowding, large bite discrepancies, or cases needing significant tooth movement may require brackets, a combined approach, or different treatment. A precise diagnosis determines which group you fall into.

I am an international patient. How often would I need to fly to Korea?

It depends on your plan, and we will not overstate what is possible. You must visit in person for the initial diagnosis and treatment start. After that, some aligner plans allow intervals of a few months between checks, but refinements often require additional visits, and unforeseen issues may need to be handled in person. If your travel schedule cannot support this, we will say so rather than start a treatment that cannot be properly supervised.
